Anthony Lye

Group Chairman

Mr Lye is the controlling shareholder and Group Chairman of the company. He has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience especially in the domain of explosive engineering, managing hazardous material and security management.

He is also a member of the Institute of Explosive Engineers (UK and Singapore) and the Chartered Accountant of Singapore. Anthony holds a Doctorate and Master degree in Science and is a graduate of Keble College, Oxford University and the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London.

JS Lim

Executive Director

Mr Lim is the Executive Director of Explomo, overseeing Explomo’s operations, business development, and marketing for the company's Explosives and Ordnance, Pyrotechnics and Fireworks, and Blast Mitigation Divisions.

JS is a member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers (Singapore) and brings over 15 years of experience in explosives and unexploded ordnance (UXO) management. JS holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from University College Dublin.

Lai Leong Kien

Safety and Quality Assurance Manager

Mr Lai is the the dedicated Safety and Quality Assurance Manager at Explomo. With a robust background in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) since 1996 and specialized training as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Specialist from 1999, he brings over 25 years of invaluable experience in handling and disposing of explosives.

Leong Kien plays a pivotal role in managing both local and overseas projects. His responsibilities extend to the development and implementation of safety procedures, as well as training new personnel.

Gerald Goh

UXO/EOD Services Project Manager

Mr Goh is the Project Manager for UXO and EOD Services in Explomo. In his years with Explomo, he is responsible for planning and managing different projects across the company, with a focus on EOD/UXO subject matters, ranging from UXO Risk Mitigation and Consultancy to UXO Geophysical Survey and UXO Disposal Works.

Gerald holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies (Management) and is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®. He was a Combat Engineer Specialist in the EOD Battalion of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Combat Engineers formation.

Derek Lam

Fireworks and Pyrotechnics Services Project Manager

Mr Lam is the Project Manager for Fireworks and Pyrotechnics Services in Explomo. With 45 years in explosives and fireworks, Mr Lam's journey began in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) from 1984-1995, involving in the planning and execution of national fireworks displays. Since 1996, he's been a Technician in the design, choreography, and execution of firework displays locally and globally.

Derek is trained by Kenneth L. Kosanke, PhD from USA in Fireworks Display and certified in Managing Safety of Public Fireworks Display by the Institute of Explosives Engineers, Singapore. He is also proficient in operating the FireOne and Pyrodigital Computerized Firing System.

Michelle Yue

Blast Mitigation Solutions Project Manager

Ms Yue is the Project Manager for the Blast Mitigation Solutions and Civil Defence Shelter (CDS) Equipment Department in Explomo. During her time in Explomo over the past 2 decades, she has been delivering high quality project management and the execution of various Civil Defence Shelter equipment projects in Singapore.

Michelle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Management.
